Rocket Science Audio was created out of Dr. Lonnie Johnson’s love of music and his quest to provide a one-of-a-kind speaker design that offers a world-class listening experience to those who share his passion for music.

As a student studying at Tuskegee University, Dr. Johnson designed and built his first set of speakers to satisfy his desire to create a sound system that highlights the most intricate nuances of music. While there, he also had the opportunity to run the sound system during a Lionel Richie and the Commodores concert. Since that time, his love and appreciation for music has continued to grow, while his search for a speaker system that meets his preference for unique design and high-end quality sound has continued to fall short of his expectations.

Dr. Johnson and his team have collaborated with speaker design experts and Grammy Award winning artists and producers to develop the Rocket Science Audio System. This hand-crafted speaker system has been created with music enthusiasts and music creators in mind. We invite you to experience music as it is meant to be heard. Whether for home, office, or commercial use – we look forward to creating a personalized listening experience for you.

In keeping with Dr. Johnson’s commitment to serving his community, 10% of the purchase price of each speaker system will be donated on the purchaser’s behalf to the Johnson STEM Activity Center.
